- This Austin Healey was Produced Near the End of Production of the "Big Healeys"
- It is a Year Model 1967 Mark III Model BJ-8 Phase 2
- All Components are New or Restored Including Complete Engine Rebuild, New Wiring Harness and New Front and Rear Suspensions
- During Restoration a Number of Improvements were made to the Car for Purposes of Safety, Performance and Aesthetics
- Careful Attention was Given to Originality with the Following Exceptions:
- Where Possible all Machined Screws, Nuts, Bolts and Washers were Replaced with Stainless Steel or Chrome
- The Chassis, Body Panels and Frame were Primed with Special Rust Prevention Primer
- The Exhaust System was Replaced with All Stainless Steel
- In the Engine Compartment, the Choke Cables Bracket, Valve Cover and Throttle Control Linkages were Polished or Plated to Prevent Corrosion
- The Wheels are Chrome With Stainless Spokes and New Redline Radial Tires
- The License Plate and Light were Moved from Above the Rear Bumper and Positioned Below the Bumper as on Earlier Models
- The Radio Antenna was Removed from the Body and Re-Located and Isolated Along the Right Frame Rail
- The Radiator Capacity was Doubled While Retaining the Original Radiator Top
- The Body Paint and Interior Colors are not the Original Colors
- The Steel Fuel Tank was Replaced with an Aluminum Tank of the Same Mold
- The Oil Pan was Replaced with an Aftermarket Alloy Pan that is Thicker and Ribbed for Strength and Cooler Running
- The Wiring Harnesses are all New and Converted to a Negative Ground System, a Solid State Ignition, with an Improved Gear-Reduction Starter Added
- The Healey Four Speed Gear Box was Replaced with a Modern 5-Speed Fully Synchromesh Transmission. It is Smaller, Less Noisy, Lighter Weight, Cooler Running and Substantially Increases Performance with a Conversion from the 3:92 to a New 3:55 Ratio Ring and Pinion Gear in the Rear End Housing for Enhanced Road Performance
