A Note From the Seller:
This beautiful “full custom” 1959 Ford pick-up truck was purchased in November of 2022 from the previous owner and builder, Lincoln Smith of Heartland, Texas. Lincoln is a highly skilled welder, fabricator and mechanic. He spent almost two years totally disassembling the truck and performing a total 'frame off' custom restoration. The restoration was completed in February of 2022.
The exterior color is a beautiful' “Hugger Orange” sprayed in a base coat/clear coat as well as the engine bay. The cab roof is sprayed in a “Ivory White” color giving a “classic” two tone appearance and a custom white vinyl “snap on/off” bed cover completes the “classic” truck look.
The bed of the truck was stripped to bare metal and “rhino-lined” sprayed also in the “Hugger Orange” paint scheme to match the exterior color. The interior was completely “gutted” and painted gloss black.
Since the builder of the Ford truck likes “Horse Power”, he bought a 351 Winsor engine out of a 1969 Mustang and built it to produce almost 400 horsepower.
The transmission is a re-built T-5 “Tremec” 5-speed manual with a Hurst Shifter.
The rear end is of course, a Ford 9 inch with a limited slip differential with 3:90 gears. The truck is a “strong “performer with lots of “Ford Power”.
