A Note From the Seller:
Vehicle was Purchased in 1966 by Mr. Horne from a Returning GI who had Purchased the Vehicle in Europe and Transported it Back Home. A few years later, Mr. Horne Sold the Vehicle to a friend, he then purchased it back from the friend for $100 in 1974. He performed a 2-year cosmetic and mechanical rebuild. It was repainted in the original lacquer paint, Mr. Horne claimed it was his crowning accomplishment, and a note from his wife supports it. The lacquer paint did not hold up well in the FL climate which resulted in it bubbling and cracking. Upon moving to NC in 1986, the vehicle was stored in his barn until 2014 and another build was commissioned. The entire body was disassembled, professionally stripped, painted, and reassembled. This vehicle went through 52 years of fastidious ownership, 2 restorations, a 25-30 year rest, and a recent health check by an English car expert.
