A NOTE FROM THE SELLER:

This remarkable 1975 Corvette convertible was purchased new by an avid Corvette collector in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Sensing the significance of Chevrolet's announcement that no more convertibles would be produced, he traveled to South Carolina to secure this rare gem, trailering it home with utmost care (picture included). At the time, collectors nationwide were scrambling to acquire these final year convertibles for preservation.

During its first week, the Corvette was trailered to a local car show, then returned home alongside the collector's other prized Corvettes. There, it would remain untouched for an astonishing 47 years, protected under a car cover and blankets in a climate-controlled basement. Throughout the years, the car was occasionally started, but it was never driven.

In 2022, we acquired this time capsule and carefully removed it from its long-term resting place (picture included). We performed a meticulous clean-up and detailing, replaced all fluids and filters, and brought the car back to life. The original elastomeric bumper covers were replaced due to deterioration, and the dry-rotted wheels and tires were swapped for new ones. When rescued, the Corvette had just 78 original, unrestored miles; today, it shows only 81 miles, making it one of the lowest-mileage, unrestored 1975 Corvette convertibles in existence.
