* Handcrafted into a unique creation by the legendary Hot Rod and custom fabricator Jim McNally, this 1990 GMC Pickup is a restored and modified supercharged ambassador of the '90s street-machine scene. If the '80s were about angles, the '90s were all about curves. The steel body was shaped, shaved, frenched and sculpted into flared-fender styling and then painted into a pearlescent purple monochrome from the quad-headlamp grille to the custom-built bed cover. Purple continues into the well-appointed cabin from the headliner and sculpted door panels down to the plush carpet. A dash-mounted Auto Meter tachometer with shift light keeps an eye on under-hood revolution and bolstered sport bucket seats with RJS four-point racing seat belts sit around a plush center console with cup holders and storage. Tilt steering with a leather-wrapped billet aluminum wheel and shift lever join machined aluminum foot pedals for personalized driver control, and air conditioning flows cooling comfort through custom aluminum vents. Opening the front-hinged cowl induction style hood reveals a Paxton belt driven centrifugal supercharger that takes in atmosphere through a high flow K&N cone air filter and sends it under pressure through Paxton cast aluminum pipes. Charged air mixes with fuel inside a finned aluminum intake and forces performance out of the 350 CID small-block Chevrolet V8 automatic transmission power train team. Upgraded dual electric cooling fans help the pickup keep its cool under pressure, and dual exhaust delivers supercharged sound. Custom fabricated polished aluminum accents, overflow and reservoir tanks add some flash to fast, and an Optima red-top battery waits to get the boost party started. The high performance Resto Mod Pickup waits for its next owner to hook up the staggered-width Weld Racing Draglite wheel and sticky Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro Tire Combination and haul the custom cruiser into the supercharged future.
