As cool as investment grade, first generation Camaros are, it seems that EVERYONE either owns one or knows someone who owns one. And as much as we enjoy watching killer F1s parade through the shows, it's always nice to see a rare, second-generation car. Being an avid Camaro fan, you probably know finding a well-done 2nd gen isn't all that hard. But the chances of scoring an early build, numbers matching Z28 are becoming almost as likely as purchasing a winning lotto ticket. Featuring an original LT-1 V8, original Muncie 4-speed, a 4.10 posi rear axle and correct black and copper paint, this super clean, investment grade muscle car will take you right back to the high-octane summer of 1971!

This very rare example was a 2-owner car prior to going into the 3rd owner's private collection. Originally restored in the late 80's and finished in mid 90's. In Feb 07 a detailed refurbishing was completed and put into private collection. This is a very early build Z28 and wears a 1 of 1 known 1970 color combination. In 1971 interior code 779 was dark saddle this rare Z28 has the 1970 saddle color interior. Also being an early build car, it still retains the short rear spoiler which was on the 1970 model. This was an extremely well cared for Z and is in excellent condition throughout. The small details like original LOF glass, spiral shocks, original Delco single horn, date coded smog, and original phosphate hinges make this early production Z28 even more special. This is a rare opportunity to own a 1 of 1 1971 Z28!

One of Detroit's best combinations of performance and style, early second-generation Camaros present excellent opportunity for savvy investors. Because of their relatively low production, early F2 Z28s are some of the most desirable F-Bodies on the market. And this special coupe, with its correct restoration and numbers-matching drivetrain, is the perfect muscle car to round out any discerning enthusiast's collection!
